NCAA Games: 3/2/11

There are some great NCAA lines today, although a few of them carry some risk for a high reward.

First, let's call the sure-thing low reward picks.

Duke vs. Clemson

Look for Duke (+950) to win it's final home game and maintain a perfect home record against a Clemson team with a 3-6 road record that has lost 7 straight road games against top 25 opponents.

Pitt vs. USF

Go with Pitt at (-600). Expect them to beat USF, making it USF's 12th straight loss against a ranked opponent. Pitt will come in to win, with a share of the conference crown on the line.

Here are my lower risk- higher reward picks

UNC vs. FSU

Bet on UNC, as it tries to secure the ACC regular season crown and ride its 5 game winning streak. Bet on UNC on the money line at (-130). The last time these two played, UNC won 89-69, and do not look for any change this time.

Conn. Vs. WVU

Go with Connecticut at +5, and buy 3 to make it a +8. These two teams are tied at 7th in the Big East. Expect this to be a hard fought game by both sides and in this case: take the points.
