NBA Games: 3/16/11

Let's jump right in.

Nuggets vs. Hawks

Although the Hawks have been playing good recently, they are playing in the second night of a back to back against one of the league's hottest teams. Go with the Nuggets at +1 and push it to +4, and pray for a close game.

Raptors vs. Pistons

Both suck. Stay away.

Pacers vs. Celtics

Although the Celtics haven't been playing well recently, look for them to rebound against a Pacers team that is playing in the second night of a back-to-back. The Pacers edged out the Knicks yesterday but the Celtics will come out hungry to retake the number one seed from Chicago. Pick the Celtics at (-600).

Magic vs. Bucks

Go with the Magic at (-250) and be thankful for the opportunity. The Bucks have been playing absolutely terrible recently and have been blown out of their last two games. Couple that with playing in the second night of a back-to-back against a strong Orlando team, and you are faced with a recipe for disaster.

Hornets vs. Suns

Go with the Hornets at (-200). They have played strong at home and they are looking to remain in the playoff picture. Couple that with the return of Chris Paul and the Suns' lack of Steve Nash, and you can see that the Suns will have a hard time overcoming the Hornets defense.

Thunder vs. Heat

Although I have bet against their last two blowouts, I'm going to call the Thunder at +7 and push it up to +10. KD and the Thunder have been playing great basketball recently and they just received Kendrick Perkins back, a center who can dominate the Heat inside. Also, look to their last game, which was decided on a go ahead three by Eddie House and you can see that the Heat's blowout streak can end here.

Rockets vs. Bobcats

Go with the Rockets at (-275). They are fighting for a playoff spot against a Bobcats team that simply isn't that good. Also, the Rockets have been playing great in their playoff push.

Cavs vs. Kings and Twolves vs. Jazz

Stay away from both, WAY too unpredicable

Mavs vs. Warriors

Go with the Mavs at (-165). They are looking to overcome their loss yesterday against a Warriors team that has been playing bad as of late. Also, they are looking to retain the 2 seed over the Lakers. Golden State is just the team they need right now.

76ers vs. Clippers

I'm going to stay away,, the 76ers have been too unpredictable recently, as have the Clippers.
