Today, I was slightly more effective than yesterday in that only 1 of my non-tentative picks was incorrect. KSU upsetting Texas was a shocker, but overall, I managed 4 right, 1 wrong and 0-2 on my tentative picks.
There was still money to be made in today.

NCAA Games: 2/28/11
Today, there are only a few NCAA games that I would bother betting on.
Texas vs. Kansas State
Go with Texas on the money line (-500) if you want a sure thing. Texas has only one loss at home and is looking to regroup after two road losses. Although the reward is not great, there is very little risk. Sometimes you need games like this in your gambling portfolio.
Villanova vs Notre Dame
Go with Notre Dame at (-200). They are undefeated at home and Villanova is slumping. Notre Dame can clinch a double-bye with a win here.4

NBA Games: 2/28/11
Here are my picks for today's NBA games. I feel that there are some very good lines today and the possibility to make quite a bit of money.
Bulls vs. Wizards
My pick is the Bulls on the money line (-330). Although the Bulls are away, they are coming off of a huge win against Miami and are looking to stay in the hunt for the top seed, while the only thing that Washington is really competing for is a better lottery spot.
Suns vs. Nets
My pick is the Suns on the money line (-145). The Suns are on a three game winning streak and are fighting for the 8th seed in the Western conference. The Nets are on a 5 game losing streak and still have not managed to integrate Deron Williams into their roster.
Hawks vs. Nuggets
I am not calling this one. I feel that this will be a schedule victory for the Nuggets, as Denver has immense success when playing at home in the second night of a back-to-back for the other team. However, I have not seen enough of the new-look Nuggets to feel that they can compete. Tentative call: Hawks on the money line.
Celtics vs. Jazz
My pick is Boston at (-200). Today they should be able to integrate Jeff Green into their rotation and they are fighting off Miami and Chicago for the top seed in the Eastern Conference. The Jazz are sliding and are trying to integrate all of the pieces that they received for Deron Williams.
Clippers vs. Kings
My pick is the Clippers at +0. This is essentially a tentative pick that I am betting on, but the Kings have lost 5 straight at home and LA will be looking for its first win out of the All Star Break. Look for Blake Griffin to be back to form against Sacramento, who the Clippers have beaten three times this year.

NCAA Games: 2/27/11
Unfortunately, there are not too many NCAA games that are worth betting on today, but here are the few thaat I personally am betting on.
FAU vs. South Alabama
My pick is FAU at -1.5. FAU has been the stronger team of late and has a much better record. They also are the team that has the most to gain by winning this game.
Maryland vs. UNC
My pick is UNC on the money line (-270). This is a great opportunity for gamblers. Whenever you can get better than -300 for a ranked opponent to beat an unranked opponent- go for it. UNC is on a 4 game winning streak and are undefeated at home. This will not change today. If you are going to bet on any NCAA game today, go with UNC.

Warriors vs. Timberwolves
My pick is the Warriors (-160) on the money line. The Warriors have beaten the Timberwolves 5 consecutive times and they are trying to recover from two losses out of the All Star Break. The Timberwolves have been slumping and are trying to integrate Anthony Randolph into their roster and simply have not shown that they can beat a team such as the high-scoring Warriors.
76ers vs. Cavaliers
My pick is the 76ers (-330). The Cavaliers are without Mo Williams and the chance of Baron Davis playing and significantly helping is slim. Also, Philly has a greater motivation then the Cavaliers, as they are trying to improve their playoff seeding and will come into this game ready to win.
Mavericks vs. Raptors
I am not betting on this game, as the money line is too low (-440) to bet on the Mavericks, and I would not feel comfortable betting on the 8.5 spread, one way or another. If I had to pick, I would buy 3 points on the Raptors and make them a +11.5.
Bobcats vs. Magic
My pick is the Bobcats at +11, and possibly buying three extra points to make it +14. The Bobcats are trying to prove that they can survive without Wallace and the Magic are not known as a particularly high scoring team. I expect the Magic to win, but not by more than 14. Also, Van Gundy will likely try and rest Dwight Howard if the Magic are up by over 20, which should allow the Bobcats to keep it within the spread.
Rockets vs. Hornets
My pick is the Rockets at +6, and possibly buying a few extra points if you are risk averse. New Orleans is more of a defensive presence, but the Rockets have a strong offense and they are hot right now. If New Orleans wins, it will be close.
Grizzlies vs. Spurs
My pick is the Grizzlies at +9, and buying 2 points to +11. Memphis will come into this game motivated to stay in the playoff picture and riding their hot streak. San Antonio will try to preserve their record, but the Spurs will likely not blow out the Grizzlies (last time the Spurs played the Grizzlies at home, the game went into OT).
Knicks vs. Heat
I am not touching this game. The Knicks are trying to look for a signature victory with Carmelo Anthony and the Heat will be playing with their depleted bench, The money line is not worth making the call on the Heat, and I could not try and call the spread. My tentative pick would be the Knicks at +9.5, only because of the Knicks high-octane offense.
Hawks vs. Blazers
My pick is the Blazers (-210) on the money line. The Hawks have been slumping recently and the Blazers have been hot and trying to stay in the playoff picture. The Blazers have lost only 8 times this season at home and I do not predict that they will lost this game.

My name is Scott and I have been a gambler for over 10 years now. I have made thousands of dollars off of sports gaming and plan on creating a blog where I can share my picks with you, so that hopefully others can have the same success that I have had.
In this blog, I will be posting my picks for NBA games, NCAA games, and more. I will also give reasoning as to why I feel that this pick is valid.
*NOTE* I will only pick games which I have bet on myself. I have bets on most NBA and NCAA games on a given night, so I will share only picks which I am confident enough to bet on myself.
